I made this map to help beginning mappers make flatgrass type maps. All you have to do is run hammer through Source SDK. I would choose the configuration HL2. GOOD NEWS if you use this map it is guaranteed not to be fullbright :D Just make sure you use the light_environment.
In the middle of the map is a small construct style spawn area. In the vmf you will find some player spawns a light entity and the light_environment.
Zip includes the bsp to view the original and the vmf to do whatever you'd like to, as well as some screenshots.

Once you have your map how you like it, go up to "file< run map" and make sure the settings are on normal. Don't click anything during compile or your computer might freeze. Once it's done, copy the .bsp into your maps folder, and enjoy :Dhttp://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=597873
