Ever craved gratutitous and insane amounts of gore while you're shooting someone up? This gore mod may fulfill your bloodthirst.
- It includes custom particles, some modified by me and most by Chappi, as well. This mod also includes the ability to shoot a Combine's head off as well as their limbs. THIS ONLY WORKS FOR COMBINE SOLDIERS AND METROPOLICE.
- Explosive damage will cause ragdolls and NPCs to explode in a gory spectacle.
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Not every NPC will be using the blood effects.
- Using blood decals with bad alpha channels will cause blood spurts to be ugly squares.
CONVAR:
- g_maxgibs (the max amount of gibs allowed in the world)
- g_explosiondamage (the amount of physics damage you have to inflict on a ragdoll/npc to cause it to explode)
This is VERSION 2 of the Combine Gore Mod. What is now included:
+ Alien gibs are now coated with the appropriate yellow color.
+ A new blood_impact particle effect!
+ Gibs now "splat" when they hit the ground, creating a particle effect and nasty sounds.
+ Blood spurts now shoot out in random directions rather than just drop like a rock. They also make "splats" now, similar to SMOD.
FAQ:
- Can you make this work for other NPCs?
A: Yes, but I won't. I modified the models myself (excluding the heads) and it takes time, which I like to spend more on other projects.
- Why is decapitation not working?
A: You're probably trying to do it to a ragdoll which won't work.
- No, I don't! It's still not working even on NPCs!
A: Use a more powerful weapon.
- Why do corpses disappear?
A: Set npcg_ragdoll_lifetime to 0 in the console.

This download looks like an addon. You need to extract the downloaded zip and put the addon folder in your Garry's Mod addons folder. You should end up with a directory structure similar to below:
