This Tutorial shows you how to make an animated Event Horizon for the Stargate Mod
I used this Method to make this EHhttp://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=88565

This download looks like an addon. You need to extract the downloaded zip and put the addon folder in your Garry's Mod addons folder. You should end up with a directory structure similar to below:

    • common
      • garrysmod
        • garrysmod
          • addons
            • Stargate EH Tutorial <-- Addon folder!
              • e.g.
              • lua
              • maps
              • materials
              • models
              • etc
