Flying Airboat

Originally uploaded by Rectomonious on 20th December 2010 21:00 pm

This is my most, I would say advanced vehicle I have made in a while. Still learning on construction, but this is a win.
Drive it like a Airboat "W, S, A, D" and to lift the front up it's "Left Mouse" and to go lift back up it's "Right Mouse".
Wire is required, and latest update or PHX.
Anything to do with physics is in the package. Simply extract the content directly to your garrysmod/garrysmod/ folder.
Readme, as described in the package...

How to install *PACKAGE NAME HERE*.
1. Open the archive. To open archives you will need a proggram call WinRar, if you have not got it or never heard of it, Goto this webpage to find out more and to download (100% virus free)
2. Goto C:/Proggram Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/*your username*/garrysmod/garrysmod
3. Now go back into the opened archive and press *Extract To*, A window should pop up. Simple locate C:/Proggram Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/*your username*/garrysmod/garrysmod and press ok. Once the extarction is done, close any steam application (Say you had gmod open whiles do these steps) and then re-laung Garrys Mod, to find you now have *Flying Airboat* in your *Advanced Duplicator Tool (=Public Folder=)* section.

This download looks like an unpacked addon. You can either convert the files to an addon or merge the folders in the zip with the folders in your Garry's Mod folder.

Convert to Addon (Recommended)

You should end up with a directory structure similar to below:

  • steamapps
    • common
      • garrysmod
        • garrysmod
          • addons
            • Flying Airboat <-- Make this folder!
              • e.g.
              • lua
              • maps
              • materials
              • models
              • etc

Or, Merge Folders (Not recommended)

This option makes it difficult to remove the content should you no longer want it. Merge any folders from the zip with the equivalent folders in your Garry's Mod folder.

Don't know where the Garry's Mod folder is or how to extract zip files? See more useful installation tips.
